For immediate on-campus assistance call Penn Police at (215) 573-3333 or 511 from a campus phone. For immediate off-campus assistance contact 911 for Philadelphia police.

Penn Police can connect you to a specially trained advocate from Special Services in the Division of Public Safety.

Special Services staff are confidential and are on call 24/7 (215-898-6600.) Special Services can provide:

  • Support and information about reporting options.
  • Accompaniment to the Philadelphia Special Victims Unit.
  • Accompaniment and transportation to the Philadelphia Sexual Assault Response Center (PSARC) where you can receive, among other things, a forensic rape examination (see Medical).
  • Assistance with applying for a Protection from Abuse Order. (PDF)
  • Recommendations for and enforce immediate safety measures.
